I have the same shifter. Guess your also comfortable with no lockout rev. I have one question. The rubber gromet on your shift boot is different then mine. On mine you see the top of the gromet.
It just dawned on me. Is your gromet pushed down inside the shift boot?
Maybe thats why you dont see it. Nice install.

yes down inside the boot, but I can still see it
like an volcano with the grommet inside...
I used the zip tie to secure the grommet in place on the shifter "leather"

Hurst sells a collar for their shifter. Dresses it up a bit.

If that's the story for Saturday and Sunday, then I will have even more fun.

While my Boss is NOT my daily driver she has been this week. The reason is that I'm teaching my 18 year old to drive a stick. Wish I had a different car to teach him in but I don't. It will be worth it as we'll be in Utah on April 1st and 2nd for the Boss Track Attack. Can't wait to go!

Just over 875 miles now and will most likely break 1,000 this weekend so I'll be doing my first oil change. Motorcraft filter and Mobil 1 5w50.

There's no reason to dump this oil so soon other than out-dated 20th century paranoia. But hey, it's your money. :catfight:

No offense but a t-handle just looks like old school funkiness in these newer models. :justdoesntlookright:

It's all good, subject has been flogged to death. I just got my sample kit and will be sending out my OEM factory fill with 6273 miles on it. Got 2 kits as I will be sending a sample of the current Royal Purple fill at the same mileage. OAI results to follow.

Was able to pass a brand new GT500 SVTPP on Summit Main, not a bad start to the weekend.

I took my Boss, GHIG302, to San Diego today to sell a snake. No, not a Cobra, a real snake. I breed Ball Pythons as a side biz. Any excuse to get that bad boy out on the freeway. I drive pretty considerately most of the time, do not want to give Mustang owners a bad rap, but I did have to put a Ram in its place today:) I have to admit, driving the Boss up the coast is so fun. Mercedes, BMW's, 911's everywhere, think people enjoy seeing something different that is not German made and some shade of grey.

It's so worth the gas money isn't it? I did 400 or so this weekend on the track. I was fortunate enough to try and follow a 458 Italia around Summit, which ended in him losing me 30 seconds after they raised the full course caution.

Had to drive mine into work today since my beater is in the shop because it is overheating, hate working n the BMW. Wouldn't mind, but it was around 34* coming in and they are talking about snow this afternoon.
