What is considered a high mileage 2012-2013 Boss 302?
"high mileage" for a Boss is the same as "high mileage" for any other Mustang . . . a lot of them are "garage queens" that might have less than 10K miles, but those that were driven regularly will have more
Just like any other car with a manual transmission, clutch life depends on how it was driven -- if the clutch is slipped excessively, it will wear out sooner. Road track use generally does not wear out a clutch any faster than normal use because there is not a lot of slipping on the track, assuming the driver knows what they are doing.
I think generally the clutch in these cars should last over 100K miles, but "it depends" . . . my 2010 has seen quite a few road track sessions and the clutch is still OK at 110K miles; but who knows, it might fail this afternoon.
Perhaps someone with a Boss will chime in with their experience . . .
