There is no correlation between BOSS 302 VIN and build number, with the exception of the first 50 LS models.
Title will have VIN.
We have a Registry thread here with those who have reported both VIN and build #. However going forward, or with those who haven't reported, there is no way to know what VIN will be assigned what build number.

On the first 50, the VIN matches the build number. So if the VIN is between 200001 and 200050, the plaque number will match.

There is no way to look it up by VIN. However, you can find the build number under the hood of your vehicle on that metal strap above your engine. Also, remember once all of the BOSS 302’s build you can go to http://www.fordshowparts.com//store.cfm?store_id=1&cart_id=083241985701111141008 31048339120111305 and order your certificates of authenticity which will have the build number on it.
