Just found out my Boss has been built! I am just a little Excited ! I dont have an Estimated Time of Arrival but i should here something soon.

 

Congrats! Just don't get too excited on thei first eta Ford gives you. Car is a blast!!

 

Yes, i think i have been pretty patient so far after waiting 4 weeks or so for a Vin. I believe at least 3 other Boss's will be shipped to my dealership together so I will Have to wait :-)

LadyBoss - congrats! Just remember the car hasn't actually shipped until you get a railcar or truck number.

 

Yes actually it was hard for me, i actually called the plant and ask what was happening, and a really nice person there checked and let me know my VIN was coming ;-)

Now I am busy converting my huge metal carport to a garage. Also i have to trade in my kick@ss GT Mustang 2008 Kona Blue and gosh darn I did that Stang!

My CO Boss was finished on the 16th, then sat for 8 days at Ramp 51. Yesterday it was at Ramp 5P in Flat Rock.

Anyone have any idea how long they sit awaiting rail transport at 5P ?

Sure C6dreamvette but no need for a PM yet, i simply googled it, need to check my notebook. Sorry u have been waiting so long. I am a bit concerned for you. I ordered in May. I had heard that some folks ordered before me and got their Vin with me... It might be worth a call to your salesman and the plant ;-)

 

OK they are saying September 10th, but I have alot to do on the garage, so it a-ok if its off a bit ;-)

I just talked to the person who answered at Ford, they were excellent and called me back within 12 hours when they needed to find out more info. Than appeared in the system. Give it a whirl :-) and Good Luck.
