Oh man, that lettering on the OP pic is absolutely wretched.

 

They never look right using stripe kits that do not follow the exact factory stripe contours. Of course i would never do the Boss lettering. "Lost 302" would be funny though!

 

The hood scoop makes it looks gangster though.

 

At first glance it resembles a Parnelli Jones more than a Boss.

Heh, next time I see that GT-Boss-GT500 in my AO I'll have to snap a pic. Poor bastard is a blue GT with silver Boss stripes featuring the snake emblems and proudly saying GT500 on its flanks.

Hopefully I will be able to park next to it.

Yeah, there was a 2006 Windveil Blue GT (legitimate) with a set of silver C-stripe Boss stripes on it that drove past my buddies house last week while I was parked outside. We just shook out heads as he sat there revving his engine at the stop sign.....

 

Worst one I've seen online was a black V6 done as a half assed LS!

 

I hope I get next to one these guys one day...one hard rev and they'll know whats up.

 

There were a lot of Boss "tribute" cars done by owners before the official release of one for the 12" model year. No big deal. Hell there is Supercharged V6 "GT500" in my area of MD. Makes me laugh everytime.
