Trackey vs. MGW Shifter

This is just a general question for those of you that have one or both of these mods done. Come spring I will be looking at getting both of these, but finances may dictate that I can only get one of them.

So my question is, which should I go for? Let me clarify that I do not take my car to the track or the strip(not that I never will, but it just isn't something that is on my list of things to spend a ton of money on lol). So I don't need either of them for track duty, but just wondering what people's opinions are on one over the other.

Any input is appreciated

Don't buy either and instead save your money for some 302S or SVT wheels.

The 302S are about 1 lb and the SVT a little over 2 lbs each lighter than stock. They look way better than stock and the high gloss black doesn't look right on the white striped cars.

I don't like the high gloss on any of the Boss's. I was hoping they might switch them to flat for 2013, oh well. Thanks.

Actually, before I did that I would spend the money and get a new hood cause I think it looks sweet. Although I'm not sold on the hood pins yet.

NCCSTUD

I have both the MGW and Track Key.

Glad I bought both...I know, not much help.

If you are having issues shifting or want a firmer and more predictible shifter, go with the MGW first.

If shifting is not an issue and you would like to have the increased throttle response both on and off throttle along with a "Changed Idle" drop some coin on the Track Key.

Do some shopping. The track key is marked up a bit. I believe dealers cost is in the $225.00 range. See if a local dealer will sell the package, and that is all it is, an envelope with instrcutions, stickers and keys for the download along with the install for a deal. I was able to get mine at $235.00 cash for all.

Good luck with the Boss.

I have both also and love the shifter. I would do the track key only if you are going to track the car and I have.

Both here, sorry. They both add to the fun of driving. I'd just decide which one I'd do first.

I may buy the 302S hood later this Spring. The hood pins are not required but recommended. I'll only install the two outside pins and use the Aerocatch pins.
