Trackey kinks worked out?

Please don't blast me for not researching previous threads, I think I read them all. Just wondering if anyone has had any issues with recent installs of TracKey? ie, problems with not working properly, features missing, problems with driveability or affecting silver key operation. I feel pretty well versed at this point in warranty changes so not a concern for me. Taking mine in Thursday to a dealer that has done this before, apparently, should be good to go?

Just read through earlier threads about this and it seems TracKey was not received with 100% satisfaction. I think some people had installs that didn't show a lot of evidence of a change in idle, or certain functions weren't working. I realize that the complaints near release date may have been due to elevated expectations, but I would like to hear that people who have had it done recently with reasonable expectations were satisfied. Thanks for your replies.

No issues so far with my Track Key install. The lopey idle is lame but I knew to expect that.

Oddly mine has become quite lopey with 25,000 KMs on the car.

Works as described. No issues or complaints, love it!
I am not sure if I am imagining it, but it seems like the idle is not that lumpy when it first engages, but after running it hard for a bit, like a track session, it becomes very aggressive and lumpy.

My lopey idle seems to be louder / harder the warmer the car is and nearly disappears with the A/C on. Definitely like the increased engine braking on track.

The loopy idle is a neat feature. So is launch control. There were some complaints at the beginning, largely because Ford had put out some videos of the early test models that later couldn't pass carb standards.

What we got sounded like what I heard at MMP a month ago.

I can hear an audible change when Lopey idle engages. The increased response and engine braking make it feel like a different car.

Thanks all for the input, seems like no negatives so I take it in tomorrow with no worries. I can't wait to hear it, and feel the responsiveness!

Don't do that. Engine braking in stop and go traffic is a nightmare.

Ive had Trackey soon after it was finally released,
I havent had any issues with it.
It does what it suppose to do, except the Lopey Idle I expected.

I've got 450 miles on my Boss now, the last 250 on the red key. I've had no problems driving with the red key, although my Boss is not a daily driver. But lately, I've noticed that 1st gear is getting very bucky, to the point that it's almost unusable. I've been starting out in 2nd gear almost all the time since I started using TracKey. But I had occasion to use 1st gear the other day, and it bucked way too much. I've also noticed a hiccup around 2800 RPM under some conditions. Maybe I need to do the battery-disconnect silver-key-idle reset routine and see what happens.

I had the Track Key tune for about 2 weeks until I got an after market tune. The Red key is very cool for launch control and engine braking but I wanted more. I got the AED performance/idle tune and I definitely will not be going back to stock anytime soon! The responsiveness and increase in power is excellent and the Idle is the way Track key idle sounded when Ford first released it. I dont mean to talk bad about the Track Key in anyway... Just saying the AED tune is worth it! Advertised and dyno proven 40-50rwhp increase over stock.
