I apologize if this has been answered already. I have been living under a rock for the past 6 months or so.

Do I need to reconnect skip shift before I bring the car to the dealer for the TracKey flash? Did anyone just leave this for the dealer to do? It will be on the lift for an oil change anyway...

If it does need to be reconnected, any issues with unplugging it after TracKey is flashed so I don't have the annoyance with the black key?

 

No need to connect it now, or ever. You are good to go.

 

Nope. My was disconnected when I had TK installed and they never asked about it.

 

In regard to track key, Is Track Key offered for the 2013 Boss 302 ?

Yes, TracKey will be offered for the 2013 m/y, but I believe it is not available until some time in May.
