Striker, if it does rain, ask the instructors to take you out as a passenger. It rained the last hour we were there, and that is what they did. They went faster in the rain, did we did in the dry. You are going to have a blast.

I just returned from BTA, which was fantastic. I did the second day in the FR-500, which I would recommend if you can do it. The whole trip was a class act. This was really a transformative experience. I am so impressed with what our cars can do.

 

just got a call from them and I'm booked for next spring. It's going to be a long winter
For the guys that have gone..where did you stay? looks like most hotels are near the airport.

Miller has a deal with Hyatt Place SLC Airport. It was a good hotel with a good breakfast, for 89 bucks a night.

Other recs: Red Iguana for Mexican, Pat's for BBQ.

What an awesome day! Really wish I was doing the second day, but I'm very much satisfied. Such a nice program. I think we're very fortunate that ford offers this sort of experience.

Third gear is the ticket. Was able to flat foot a lot of the time and never run out of RPM....aside from the front straight and heading toward the clubhouse turn where you need 4th.

So disappointing getting back into my Hyundai Santa Fe rental....

 

Yes they did. I was one of the faster cars, and got plenty of compliments from the instructor when he rode along. So I was feeling pretty good about myself, then came the end of the day....wow just wow.
