track attack
Good to hear from you Bryan
Hello Boss fans...the email announcement posted earlier in this thread came from me. I heard today it was posted so I thought I may as well come in and introduce myself. Been a Ford fan my entire life, currently driving a restored '79 F-250 Supercab 4x4, a '55 Crown Vic street machine and I keep a '66 GT350 that has been a vintage racer since '69 here at the track. (I drive a Porsche Cayman S as a driver...don't hold it against me...)

A certified car geek needs a car job, so I'm happily at MMP selling schools and corporate events. As most of you will see when you arrive we do everything here...Yamaha Champions Riding School, Ford Racing High Performance Driving School, karting, slickrock Jeeping school, and the latest addition...Wide Open Excursions featuring Baja 1000 race cars. Oh yeah, and a little project called Boss Track Attack!

Feel free to contact me with your needs regarding the program and share my contact info with others as needed. Ford is making this extremely affordable for the Boss owners, and the guest drivers won't have a less expensive school alternative anywhere, let alone at a facility on par with MMP. Lastly, there is a $50mm collection of Fords, Shelby's, Cobra's and GT40's...it's automotive nirvana for anyone who bleeds Ford Blue.
I look forward to hearing from y'all!

Glad to see you're up on this Forum. Looking forward to returning to MMSP for the Track Attack after we take delivery of our Boss sometime in August or September.
Cristina and I are still in awe of the offerings from the staff and facilities at MMSP. What an operation.
As you can see from the photo, Cristina's new ride is just waiting to return to Tooele.
Hope to see you soon.
Flight and hotel are booked for 8/29-8/30 doing the FR500S the second day. I haven't been to Utah since I was a kid on the way to Disneyland. I'm wayyyy more excited about this trip than I was about meeting Mickey Mouse
Let me know what you think of the 500S. I was planning to do the same thing when this was still in my budget for 2011. Gonna have to wait until '12.
Take a look here.

Just called Miller to try and get in the October class. They said all classes were full except the November classes. If you want to go this year, better call soon.
Anybody know what compound they are using?

Brian,
There are a number of us who have more experience and would really appreciate a higher level school as part of the Boss deal. Even with the discount, compared to a two day school, my preference would be to make the most of the instructors' expertise in extracting the most out of the Boss specifically.

Great drivers do the same things consistently no matter what vehicle they are in. The skills they wish to instill in us have application to every car. At one of the schools I was at we drove a very wide variety of supercars and some more pedestrian vehicles over three days...everything from an Enzo to a basic Mustang track car that wasn't worth more than $15k. The crazy thing is I had as much fun on the Mustang as I did the Enzo.
The ability to manage the contact patches, having correct vision and becoming smooth is something that doesn't come quickly, and is far more difficult than it appears. Speed isn't taught...it's the byproduct of mastering the three things above. If you have been to a school prior you already know this. If you have lots of years experience with cars but no prior schools you may feel at the end of day one as I did after my first school...that I didn't deserve a drivers license...and I had been with Porsche 7 years at that point and had driven all sorts of stuff. There are precious few who will not be greatly challenged at Track Attack.
Our Yamaha Champions Riding School focuses on the same premise...do the drills that instill the habits of champions and you will excel no matter what bike you ride.
Many are doing this, some of them will be driving. I'm surprised there aren't more whose buddies want the second seat for either one or two days...I expected 75% would bring a friend to drive with. This is a bucket list thing for many, may as well hang with friends IMO.

2nd day, going to drive there from phoenix, nice road trip, plus the school WOO HOO
