That way Ford is off the hook.
Then we could create an entire new bureaucracy of enforcement, with emission sniffers hidden near every Boss owner, and a nonConstitutional law authored by Petooski/Reider requiring all those that don't want a Boss, to pay for the enforcement of 4000 Boss owners and their grossly polluting, non Carb, baby killing, off road, track only Red Key. Think of all the new jobs the Red Key Agency would create! Then we could make those rich bastard GT500 owners pay for it with a healthy tax increase.
Yeah that's it!
Anybody got the number for the Whitehouse? I need to make a call... the Resident needs this for his re-election.

That was not a political commentary - I only do that in the non-public political threads.
But PASS THIS BOSS BILL NOW!
Hehe! I certainly wasn't thinking that far in advance! I was more thinking along the lines of parts like O/R Xpipes and such. Not much enforcement there but I guess inspections would say otherwise.

Not so much. Anyone can make HP. But a factory Red Key... only 4000 Bosses since 40 years ago... that's the stuff right there. Seriously.

Just depends on what type of track. And don't make eye contact at the red light. The value won't last long either.

Don't make this a serious thread man. I was having fun. It's a special car with a special type of purpose. The purpose is just not practical for what I bought a mustang for.

Yeah, nice to spend so much on a car that you can't use in bad weather or even nice hot weather.

Ironic. CARB? I throught everything was fuel injected now

Another case of that state making life less fun for everyone else.

Seriously, if Trackey makes it run so rich that it burns out cats, don't you think Ford would know that by now? I bet it's a tax thing.

My $.02. CARB (and the 16 states tha adhere to these guidelines) weren't put in place overnight. Ford, like every other auto company probably has a department with a hundred or more engineers focused on emissions, standards, compliance, etc. CARB didn't promise us the Red Key.... Ford did. Also, I'm sure there hasn't been a single CARB rule that has changed effecting 2012 model year vehicles since Ford has been promising Track Key.

Trust me, I'm far from a CARB lover/defender. Ford promised us this capability and it is Ford that should deliver and stop pointing fingers at this reason or that. Get over it. You can't put a key out that's small enough for toddler to swallow and choke and you sure as hell can't put a vehicle out in 16 states without CARB emissions compliance. Duh?

For as much time as you and 11SHELBYGT500 spend in this forum, you don't do much reading, do you?
Pretty sure nobody here is displeased with the BOSS's factory output.
