Took the Laguna into Ford Service
I took the Laguna into Ford Service today to get a I.D.O.D for inspection and I must have had 12 service techs all over this car !
Really made me feel good about having this car, and I had to tell the story of how I found it, and about the pre production info. Lots of Mustang fans in Ford Service...go figure !
Sadly, our dealership hasn't had maybe 5 total Boss 302's, and only one 13 Yellow Laguna, and that shipped out to another state, so its a rare occasion to see one of these red wheel Laguna's.
On a side note, I drove the car a few miles today and I can really notice the difference in performance from this car to my 13. I know there really isn't a performance difference, but this car feels stronger and even more lively..don't really know why.
AND..I heard what I thought was engine braking one a decline curve and I'm using the black key. The sound came from the engine and not the exhaust sound. I'll have to listen for it again, if the weather warms up.

You should consider putting both of your cars on a dyno, same day, same dyno. You are one of the few of us who have owned both a regular Boss and a Laguna. I did the opposite of you and went from '12 Boss to '13 Laguna and I have noticed a lot of subtle differences. As I have discussed on another forum, my Laguna feels more precise and solid overall despite what people say about there not being any real differences. There are enough small variances between the 2 models that they feel a good bit different.
Could it have anything to do with the fact that all the roads in your area run straight for miles. Not to say that they are boring, but unless you are into watching for beavers, well. Some years ago I had to support a mill in Hudson Bay (near the Manitoba border and pretty much straight east from Saskatchewan) and would fly into either Saskatchewan or Regina and drive the rest of the way in a rental car. Some of the scenery was beautiful, but for a large part of the drive staying awake was the challenge.
Local Gun range/Conservation club has a car show every friday night during the summer. Arrived one night and saw a mustang that stood out more than usual. Made my way over to it and come to find out it was the one that was raffled off at woodward. Pretty impressive but also said he had to pay close to 20k in fee's and taxes for it. They are pretty cars.
Grey Laguna Seca ? Ingot Silver, and yes that's a very nice car !
If I remember correctly, the Ingot Silver cars are about 1/3 of the build numbers for 2012..Nice and rare
