TIFU by under estimating a driveway angle
I was bringing my wife some food to a house and I thought in my hesitation that I could just park my car in this angled driveway so I so Lunt have to block this tiny remain street. Well I got half way in, slowly, and heard the exhaust scrap. So I back u p slowly and I hear something dragging. Crap.
It was my drivers side quad exhaust. Ugh, sick to. My stomach almost. I didn't have any tools on me and I was 5 miles away from home. So I did the only thing I could think of.

The scrape

The next day I went to fix it in my drive way but no dice. I took it on base to the auto hobby shop, put her on a lift and. Tried that way. Notta. I took the quad pipe off, and saw that the expansion piece was smushed together (not in a restrictive way) so I put it in a vice and tugged on it as hard as I could. Bu 20 mins later and multiple tries, I failed to correct it. I then noticed the exhaust clamp. I loosened it and was able to slip enough out to put it back on the car and have all bolts bolt I just fine.

Lesson of the day, don't try driveways that ou even have the slightest doubt about.

This is one of two reasons I haven't brought the BOSS to Spain yet; I'm scared of stuff like this. The roads here are pretty crappy, with massive speed bumps, but the driveways are the worst.
How'd the shoelace hold up?

The shoe lace did the job like a boss! Lol
Also, two weeks ago I was driving her around base and a. Massive hail storm rolled through
thankfully they were the size of rain drops so, no damage lol.
