Most owners I've seen posting about the stock Pirellis report 15-25k. Assuming no track use either...

I got 112K out of my last set of tires...Michelins on my Frontier. It is going to be tough to get 10% of the miles out of the Boss tires.

I haven't had any track time, and right at 11.7k miles. Changing tires this week as I am right at the wear indicators, and the inside patches on the fronts are almost bald.

That's what I use for the winter. They work pretty well.

The "winter" where I live is a rainy day where it is 60 degrees. I want something similar to the originals.

I've got 22k on the originals. Its time for replacement. Mostly daily driving, lots of highway, a couple times to the dragstrip and a couple autocrosses. Probably should've replaced at 20k.

Well, I have 3700 miles on them now. Going to pass my 4k yearly alotment of miles, but I just cannot stop driving it. Took the Boss to San Diego yesterday, hit 80 degrees. I think I saw a yellow Boss in Lemon Grove, but it went by me so fast while I was at a light, could not say for certain. But, a Yellow Boss in Lemon Grove would be fitting.

85 light burn outs 25 hard burn outs on smooth tar and tens of thousands of miles. it all depends how you drive and on what surfaces.

There are far cheaper options than the stock tires that imo are better all round tires that should last. For example...

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....e+Sport+COMP-2

You can get those in stock sizes and they are WAY cheaper. Not too mention I find they handle just as well if not better...especially in the rain. Not that you care about that.

I cant comment on life...I heavily abuse my tires.

Its been a few months, anyone else replace their stock tires with something that the rest of us should consider, when it is time to replace our tires?

I'm at 17K miles and the rears are almost at the wear bars. 3 laps at an autocross and 3 laps on the Nurburgring.
