Still no Boss
For those of you that have been following my saga, you are not going to believe this: no Boss. Told by the dealership that the car would be delivered Saturday at 9 AM. Went to the dealership on Saturday 8:30 AM. Wife and I, four of my car buddies. Waited until 1230, no car, no hope, no idea from the dealership.
Grabbed the salesman and sales manager, went to the managers office and ripped their idiot heads off for 20 straight minutes. Have no idea at this point when the car will arrive. Geez this whole process has been a frigging cluster-f. Now at nearly 50 days since released from plant, and still no car.
Its really incomprehensible how it could be this screwed up.

That situation sucks.... Mine arrived at the train yard outside STL and I've driven by and seen my car sitting in the lot for seven days now. My local dealer said they'll deliver it on their own schedule and aren't going to call and bug the shipper.

Sales Manager just called. Car is sitting on a truck at the rail yard, where it was at Friday evening. He states that as soon as the driver arrives, it will depart. They expect it about noon or so. We'll see....
I wonder what happened on Saturday? My guess is the first driver just didn't bother to show up for work.
Your situations sounds very frustrating, when it shouldn't be. I guess that because the majority of new car buyers just get something off the lot, rather than place a special order for a car like the Boss, the dealers get lax about delivery times and customer service.
Ford probably should have a fast track customer service / car delivery system for special order vehicles, rather than just let the normal delivery methods apply.
Hope you are in your car by days end.

50 days ex-factory, jeeeeeez.
You are probably better off then me, I have my Boss and can't drive it. Raining here for 7 straight dYs in NE Ohio. I think I cleaned it 3 times last week, so I don't know which is worse, waiting for it, or having it but can't use it... Just a thought
My LS was built feb 15th. Ford customer service has no ideal when it will ship. They say it was picked for quality control. So I am thinking now they are going to send it to me a bolt at a time through the us mail.
