I read somewhere that there are options for steering control. Is this correct?

Yes - you can scroll through the setup menu using the middle button. Scroll until you get to the epas selection and then pick from comfort, normal, or sport. I think that the quick-start guide has a brief explanation as well. I use sport but many magazine reviews preferred the normal mode. I think that sport simply makes the steering a bit heavier.

FYI, If you turn off Advance Trac (by holding down the TC button while stepping on the brakes for 5 secs) the steering is locked into Sport mode.

That's cool, how about to get it out of sport mode?

Just turn Advance Trac back on by hitting the TC button again. Then you can go back to setting the steering mode with the setup button.

On mine you just tap it once while on the brake and it turns off and on.

The better way to drive is to tap it twice while on the brake. It puts it in sport mode and locks the steering in sport also. It does not completely turn off the TCS and ESC.

Intermediate sport mode allows drivers to push their cars hard at the track without completely disabling the safety systems, permitting more aggressive driving before the TCS and ESC systems intervene.
