My parents had a beige Diplomat with the 225 slant 6. Boy did that car get abused. Diff rebuild - check, tranny rebuild - check, top speed tests - check.

My understanding is that the paint on this car is designed after the 69 team cars. The original white roof, I believe, was P.J.'s idea.

UPS trucks down in the south have roofs painted white. Drivers say it makes a huge difference.

That's the first thing I noticed too. Looked like stink eye to me.

Seen a similiar one in the PDC parking lot

Might be the same one. Kona Blue with the same paint scheme. Today I saw one drive by on Oakwood and it looked like it had a window sticker. There was another one parked in the PDC lot. Silver with the red accents, red wheels (ughh) with well worn tires, Recaro seats, and the standoff spoiler, black shifter ball and the gauge pod on the dash.

You know they will. Just because it's not that attractive to most of us, SOMEONE will buy it. As for me, I think I will wait (not that I have a choice) and see what happens with the LS and Street Boss in 2013. More colors. More stripes. More money?? LOL
