I haven't done any events with Speed Ventures or Extreme Speed, but I got a recommendation for Extreme Speed from somebody earlier this year.
Another option is at Buttonwillow. I've done the events run by the club that owns the track. http://buttonwillowraceway.com/calen...riving-clinic/
You get TONS of track time with them in 1 day - about 3 hours. Lots of instructors there for no additional charge. In the morning, they split the track into the East and West loop. First-timers to Buttonwillow go on the more technical East loop and are split into 2 groups. One group is on track while the other is in the classroom. Returning drivers are on the West loop. Usually there aren't enough drivers to make 2 groups. After lunch, the tracks are combined into 1 big one. Any experienced drivers from the east loop can join the returning drivers group to even up the groups. The last time I did this event, I put 170 miles in one day and I didn't do the last session.

Thanks for the suggestion Warren, I'm sure we could do a Buttonwillow day also, but it seemed there was more of a group preference for Streets.
I gotta get this poll up on a few other boards too, but I wanted to check possible dates with you, Antonio, Mike, and Brandon first.

Looks like I'm going to try to make it for 2 separate days Sunday 11/4 with Speedventures and Sunday 11/25 with Extremespeed. I'll make another thread later to follow-up.

Looks like we can't have a separate group. Even though I'd like to have a separate run group, I think it makes sense to keep the drivers in groups based on track experience and lap times.
I'm thinking just the Sunday 11/25 date for the Boss day. I'm going to run my GT on 11/3 or 4 if I get it ready by then.
Post up if you're in for 11/25 with Extreme Speed.
