The video below starts off with what appears to be a fairly stock looking Boss 302 Mustang, but a closer look starts to reveal hints at what may be lurking under that pretty sheet metal. A huge downpipe exits from the front bumper, and there is a full cage with fixed seats in the cabin. A quick talk with the owner reveals that this a 1,500 horsepower drag monster that is capable of breaking in the low eights on the quarter mile.

Strapped to the V8 engine there sits a Precision 8285, and that power is sent to a Rossler Terminator 4 powerglide transmission. Of course there are giant drag radials carefully tucked under the back fenders too.

The engine itself started life as a Coyote V8, but it has been bored out to an “undisclosed” size. The car is capable of running about 22 pounds of boost, but in the video, the car is only turned up to 17 pounds. Even still, it manages to demolish both a Camaro and a GT-R at the drag strip.
