I'd love to find LS 048 and buy it for MSRP.

So the Kona Boss has a buy it now price of $47k and giant numbers added to the window with a price of $45995...am I missing something?

The LS has a buy it now of $70k and giant numbers with $68465 on the window. Attention to detail is not high at this dealer.

I was wondering about that too, maybe you get a discount if you just drive to the dealer yourself. Or maybe it's cheaper to post on ebay if you use nice round numbers?

Spotted this in the ad.......

"This 2012 Boss 302 Laguna Seca just arrived today! MSRP on this Boss is $48,465 and my reserve price is $20,000 over MSRP. I added a Buy It Now for $70,000 to allow for an opportunity to avoid a bidding war and quicker sale."

I like how the Kona car has the front license plate drilled already. I'd raise one hell of a ****storm for that. Their pricing is nuts, let them rot there if that's how they want to sell them.

you probably won't see to many LS or any Boss cars with the same last 2-3 digits of VIN and the Boss number on the intake.

texas dealers are a bunch of douche bags. i called a dealer in Austin looking for mine and they had two allotments, he proudly said only $5K over msrp on the standard boss and you can order it right now for Q2. i told him i could buy three others (or at least order them) at msrp in the city and they decided they would take msrp. then they ****ed around and didn't call me back when they said they would so i ordered somewhere else and the guy acted liek he was pissed after he "worked so hard for me". these dealers think they won the lottery with these cars and it really pisses me off.

ferrari had a problem with the f40 if any of you recall where they were getting bought up by collectors and none were driven and the prices sky rocketed at dealers, that is why you had to own one other ferrari and lease the f50 when it came out so they could control who the cars went to and what they sold for. i really wish ford would step in and let these cars go to the enthusiasts they were meant to be for, not some douchebag dealers trying to price gouge on something. GM did that with the volt as well IIRC with dealers adding $25k to the price.

If you're going to ask double the sticker price, you could at least spell the name of the car right...

You'd think that the halfwit would be able to read the badge on the rear of the car.

I almost got that allotment for that LS. That dealer has a branch in my town and they took this branches allotment and added it to theirs and so they will have two. The general manager here told me I could have that LS at MSRP, but then a day later he told me that Houston branch was taking all allotments. He said I could still have it but I'd have to pay what Houston branch wanted.

Now I know. I hope they choke on it.
