i was thinking about getting a new shifter ball for my boss but wasnt sure where to get and what size i would need. i noticed some sites ask for the diameter and the thread type, and what shifter boot i need.
since im not really familiar with any of this, all i want to do is unscrew the current black ball and replace it with another that is black with orange stripes and numbers. ive seen similar at car shows but never found the owner to ask.
any suggestions and help? what type of thread or boot do i need?

I have the MGW shifter and had Grabber Pony make me a custom engraved ball with my cars number on both sides of the **** ( LS422 ).

Yeah it's AWSOME but if I had to do it over again I would add the Laguna Seca track outline to the top of the shifter too.

now all i have to do is decide on color and style.
was thinking of going with a CO **** and blk numbers to reflect the color of the car.
there are many options on grabberpony so ill choose wisely
