I was driving south on I15 in San Diego this morning and saw FM BOSS traveling the carpool lanes.

Yellow Blaze with black stripes.

It was only the second time ever I have seen a new gen Boss on the road

It looked good. I wish that I could have told the owner that I have one of those also.

Anybody here own the car?

 

this is interesting to me. How many of you ever see other Boss 302's on the road? My little town has 88,000 people in it and there are four Boss 302s here! there are two more CO boss 302s and a white one ripping around. I am the only one that drives regularly, but on the weekends i nearly see one every day. i know Texas appears to have received a huge chunk of the production.

Considering i work from home and don't go out all that much, seeing other 302s so often and someone in San Diego rarely seeing one its strange to me.

 

chase it down next time and get some pictures of it.

 

I live in san jose, ca and have only seen one other boss (other than at car shows)...and that was only two weeks ago. oddly enough, on the day I spotted the boss, we also spotted a Koenigsegg ccx AND a porsche 959 (in the same day!).
And I'd never seen a ccx on the road. It was quite a day.

 

I don't think it's very odd NOT to see one in Ca, I rarely see new mustangs at all.

 

Here in my town of 27000 we have a Kona Blue and a Race Red. Also a 2006 midnight blue Ford GT.

I live in the Houston, TX area; I think population ~4 million in the greater area. The only other Boss I have seen was at a track day south of Houston. The owner was from East TX.

 

Don't see other Boss Mustangs on a daily basis but have seen a white, orange, orange, orange and black LS at shows and track days. Did see the YB/white stripe one on the road once.

 

I've only seen 1 other Boss (YB) while driving. I've met up with SoCalBoss302 to go to Cars and Coffee once and saw 1 CO Boss and 1 black Boss LS there.

 

In Jersey, I have had the same red and black Boss pass me twice on the NJ Turnpike @ 5:30am on my way to work. Otherwise It only at car shows that I see Boss 302's. Thats when I meet Jason and his Boss 302j.

In northern CA, I see maybe one 2010+ GT every two weeks. If I see a 2010+, it's usually a rental V6. The majority of vehicles I see on my 30mi daily commute are Camries, Corollas, Prii, Lexus RX/IS, BMW 3 Series and beat to hell "scraper" cars - essentially any 85-95 GM sedan.

I hate this area.

 

I've only seen 2 in my area so far, dont expect any more until spring.

I just didn't think that I could drive, talk on the phone, text, do a crossword puzzle, moon the Amtrak and shoot action photography at the same time...

 

I hope you immediately bought a lottery ticket. Was the 959 a real one??? (one of the coolest Porsche's ever made)

There are two other Boss 302's in my town and I've become friends with one of the owners. Me meet for coffee every couple of weeks.

The 959 is def one P car I would get and keep if I had the funds. I'd have to build a nice garage for it, keep it warm and nice.

 

Really? what track? i am in east texas, I wonder if it was the other CO car from Tyler i see on occassion.

 

Grandsport Speedway in Hitchcock, TX (south of Houston). The Wildhorse Mustang Club of south east TX had a track day there. Really not true "East Texas". Sorry for the confusion. Most of the members of that club are from the Beaumont - Port Arthur area.

 

I have only seen one on the road where I live, LOL, it was about two weeks before mine showed up at the dealer and about broke my neck looking.......it was yellow blaze...........plus i saw the first one ordered at my dealership.......it was yellow blaze too........about two weeks after i ordered mine......

 

That may be true but SD has only a population of about 50 people and there are like 5 Bosses there, so they would have the higher percentage per capita

 

Yep, and my RR/black's twin is 6 miles from me, but I've never seen him drive it.
I'll up you - I know of 6 in the state. 2 RR/black, 2 CO/black, one CO/white, one black LS.
And there's a good looking girl behind every tree.
