It's been a long slog over the past couple of days, but I've managed to catch up with logging the cars.

For regular Bosses:
There are currently 2093 cars in the database. I have 281 Boss numbers, Scott probably has more, it's been a bit since we've synced our info.

For the colours:
CO/Black: 717
CO/White: 49
Red/Black: 340
Red/White: 90
YB/Black: 250 (this is likely the final total for regular production cars)
YB/White: 1 (same)
White/Black: 327
Kona/White: 319

For the LS:
There are 627 cars in the database, I have 112 LS numbers.
Of the 627 LSes:
566 were ordered with the mats/cover option
509 are Black
118 are Silver

Here is the options breakdown for the regular Bosses as best as I can tell. The CO/Black column is missing 2 cars, I am not sure why yet.

The option combos highlighted in red are only possible for Canadian cars, as well as the YB/White paint.

I just figured out today that the block heater option isn't available in Canada, while it is for certain northern U.S. states. ???

That's a bad color combo. The white decals kill the yellow blaze looks. I guess that why Ford only sold 1.

 

I am amazed at the difference in CO with Black versus white.

 

Now I know the neighbourhood, I cruise out there on a regular basis. I'm starting to feel like a stalker.

 

I think it rocks. Same colours as my old race car. I especially love the white with CO. Looks as good as an old '69 Cougar Eliminator. Sweet!

 

It's been a month, so it's time for an update. I've now added the LSes to the summaries.

 

Yes. Somewhere on this or another forum there were photos of the car with the owner. I had read that offering that combo was a mistake and by the time they caught it and corrected it one had been ordered and they decided to honor it. So one of one. I will try to find the photos and link them.

I just put a deposit on a YB/Black one at my dealer. He said they ordered the car around a month ago, so I'm wondering if mine is included in your numbers or something else is a factor.



That hardly looks like YB in the pic, but that's likely due to the lighting and camera.

Now THAT looks a lot more like YB than the previous pic. IMO, it's an awesome color combo that would be perfect for sunny areas. Florida, Arizona, Southern Cali come to mind.

I am actually missing the original window sticker for your car. The online version was modified at some point, and the Blend number and some other info is missing. If you have the original in pdf form, pm me.

You should make sure to get a DORA for your order to confirm the system accepted YB. YB hasn't been in production since the beginning of August. It may be coming back, but last I heard it was done for the year.
