I dont know maybe they would expect you to be reponsible about it and pull over and switch keys or not leave the track without the black key back in?

Doesnt seem to me they would disable things either but just thought I would ask everybody if this was just all bull$%#@

Yea, that is if there is still personal responsibility left anymore. Some lawyer will sue Ford because their client forgot the key at home and Ford should have known they would, or maybe they lost the key at the track after 6 beers. Then it goes class action, hey these guys sue Cessna for crashes that happen to a plane built in 1959 and has been rebuilt 27 times.

I just don't see Ford leaving themselves open to that, even if they win it still costs money. Besides, info has been slow to come about Trackey but I am sure they would have at least hinted at that. I just don't buy it and wonder if the OP said this as a joke to get 4 pages of replies

Hey Mark we are now in a race. My Boss against yours. As of this afternoon mine is in the rail yard 25 mile from the dealer. Scheduled to be delivered Monday, maybe sooner.

Dr. Evil: Mr. BMW M3 driver, you'll notice that all the Boss Mustangs have laser beams attached to them. I figure every creature deserves a warm meal.

Number 2: (clears throat) Dr. Evil, it's about the Boss's. When you were waiting for production to resume in Flat Rock, the California Air Research Board put TracKey on the emissions testing list. It'll take months to clear the "Red" key.

Dr. Evil: You know, I have one simple request. And that is to have Boss Mustangs with frickin' laser beams attached to their headlights! Now evidently my cycloptic colleague informs me that that cannot be done. Could you remind me what I pay you people for? Honestly, throw me a bone here! What do we have?

Number 2: V6 Mustangs.

Dr. Evil: (pause) Riiiight.

Number 2: They are modified V6 Mustangs.

Dr. Evil: Are they evil-tuned?

Number 2: Absolutely.

Dr. Evil: Well that's a start.

You take the red key, you stay in wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

Paul, may see mine today or Saturday. The rail cars just arrived this morning at the rail head, about 3 hours by truck from the dealer. They've put a rush on it, but I'll know more mid-day today.
