Do the FRPP Recaros have airbags in the side? Seeing as they are not the production Boss seats that require airbags. Here's to hoping they do not.

If they don't you better hope you never get in an accident as your insurance company will hang you out to dry. If you want them order them now.

I don't think the optional ones for the Boss have airbags

The Boss Recaro's have airbags. Not sure about the Ford Racing seats. After looking at the photo there's an air bag tag on the optional seats. The tag is at the very bottom of the seat back.

I was looking to high on the seat and missed the tag.

Yes, but it's a shopped picture of an LS. The text in the catalog mentions a wiring harness for power seat functions, but nothing about airbags.

If it doesn't have an airbag would it state for offroad use only? It doesn't appear to be a racing seat as there's no slot for the sub belt.

To be clear, I'm not saying that there are no airbags, just that the picture isn't definitive proof that there are.

Understood. I had the same though of adding the Recaro's later if I wanted them. But being unsure about the airbags, which I want, and the cost helped me order them now. Plus sitting in them didn't hurt either.

If you look at the window stickers they state the Boss comes with front and side air bags......

I just saw a Boss 302 in Austin. Just in front of the stitched Recaro on the side bolster is an "airbag" tag. The seats look like the Sport S, with the smaller seat bottom bolsters for easy in & out. Sorry, I can't figure out how to post the picture from my hard drive.
