Rear end badging
It's bothered me how the rear end of a base Boss lacks any distinctive badging, so I cut up some vinyl to add a little bit of assertiveness.
The first one I cut ended up way too large for how I wanted to do it so I have it up for grabs if anyone wants to send me postage for it. It's matte black, non-reflective.

If you like it cool, however I think what is nice about the Boss is that it is a little subtle, even though it says Boss 302 on the sides, but if you think it needs Boss 302 on the back too go for it.

Centered might look better in my opinion. I like some discrete badging, kinda wish there was something OEM from Ford for the GT Track Pack... not sure I'd make something on my own, but I like wanna-be boss

The only thing in my opinion that looks good on the back is a Boss License Plate, maybe a Boss logo around the plate, or a Boss logo in the Faux Gas Cap. Anything else looks home made and does nothing to add to the coolness factor.

Agreed, Dayve. This looks like a dealer/carmax sticker. I have seen centered ones that still just look out of place to me. I like the pony back there. There's plenty of "look at me" on the sides.

I wonder why Ford chose the same badging for the Boss as the V6 model. Side note. The Boss and v6 badging are awesome looking. Way better looking than the Gt badging. Not a fan of the Gt badging.

I'll admit... I wish there was something small and subtle on the rear from the factory but, then again, I guess that's what license plate frames and such are for.
I like what both of y'all did though! Not too crazy at all.

I would like to pose the question, why do you want badging all over the car? I mean if you see a car in the Boss colors and see the V6 badge and the tailpipes and diffuser and all of the other tell tail signs, pretty easy to tell the car is either a Boss or a clone.

However, my dad, with his '05 SSR (the one with the LS2), loves these little things.
First, he adds an interior badge that's really well made and matches the interior perfect... it really looks like it belongs...
Then, he adds a 3D OEM looking "LS2" badge on the back... again, looks like it'd have been standard...
Then, he has the Engine Plastic cover painted...
Then, he buys a jacket and has the "SSR" logo stitched into it...
...yadda, yadda... I realized sometimes, even though you don't want to really modify your car, you still want to personalize it.
I like the small addition as long as it looks OEM and subtle. That being said though, you can eventually go over-board.
