Question for experienced Mustang trackrats

I'll need to mount a 2.5lb. Fire extinguisher on a metal bracket in the front for some track events. Is there a preferred location? I had one in a Ferrari that I could remove when not on the track. There were nutserts in the floor board on the passenger side.

Suggestions?

I have not installed one, however if I were going to, that would be the best place. Unfortunately, I don't think a 2lb bottle is going to do much of anything, those are typically just for show.

TTS197: that's a great find. 5 years of tracking Mustangs and I've never seen that before. Thanks!
