I'll start off by extending a huge thanks to Robert for setting up the first BOSS get together in the DFW area. It was an outstanding afternoon, and I'm sure there will be many more successful events in the future for TX BOSS owners.

I won't clutter this post with words, I know there are folks that want to see some pics, so here they are!

Thanks again to everyone that came out, it was great talking with everyone, and great seeing so many BOSSes in one spot!

As soon as I got back to town, I saw the Saturday evening Corvette crowd gathering at the bank, something caught my eye. Pulled in and grabbed a couple quick shots...

 

What a great gathering! That white Ford GT is just perfect! Wonder if you can swap in a Boss motor to save weight? I've got to get me one of each of those cars, 302S is just sick, RR with white is sweet, PW/Blk is a given with me........................great shots.

Robert - many thanks! I really appreciate the effort. Even though I wasn't a lucky winner, the giveaways were a nice touch and made it a complete event, as if seeing all the Bosses wasn't enough! It was worth the trip up from Austin. Just got home, quick bath for the Boss then over to Cars and Coffee in Leander.

Thanks, Rick. I got just a few, it was pretty difficult to capture the black stripes on the KB, but looked pretty wicked in person.

I agree with the comments of difficult to get a picture of Kona/black
.....more of a sleeper look, a bit less visually loud

 

I'm sure it looks really cool in person. I was originally hot to swap my white stripes with black. Shortly before my Boss arrived I got to see another forum members KB GT with black Shelby stripes and decided against it due to the lack of visibility. What might look nice with KB is the 2013 reflective and matte sterling grey colors with the 2012 stripes. Stealthy but a bit more visible. Of course now I've gone in the complete opposite direction.
