Pics 18in Forgestar, Hankook R-S3 Review at Willow Springs
Just got back from Willow Spring Big Track. Put on the Hankook R-S3 Tires with forgestar wheels and MM Camber Plates and they performed fantastically!
Ran a 1:35:00 which I improved from a 1:37:3 on the stock Pirellis. My timing didnt work in the beggining but my buddy ran 1:33:7 and I was on his *** so I think I pulled faster than the time I recorded. The tires completely transformed the car. On turn 8 I usually enter around 120mph but the speed scrubs off to 110-112 and I managed to enter a little above 120 and stay at 120+ Better everything!
Here are some pics!

Wheels from American muscle . Com. Tires from a friend who deals with that stuff. It is a street tire. But on the border u could say. Not an R comp.
The Hankook R-S3 is a 140+ treadwear tire in the UHP tire rating group. It is eligible for SCCA street tire classes and is in he same category as the Kumho XS, Bridgestone RE-11 and Yokohama AD08 Neova.
I've run the 'kooks on my previous M3 as well as the Boss and am really impressed with them, especially at their price point. The Yokohamas are my favorite of the group, but are significantly more $$$.

The car looks great Sam. I have been looking at those tires for awhile now. I think that will be my next tire set up. I have ran the AD08 on my last car and it was a great tire. But the price kills it for me these days/. Looking for a well balanced Street Track tire and the RS# has everything im looking for.
Thanks Bill!! Appreciate it! Love the 18s with a chunky tire give a track look which it gets to often!
Im on 18's running 265/40/18 and 285/35/18 way off the stock diameter size, oh well
