wow...drama!! Why anyone would go into so much detail on personal finances on a public forum is beyond me. You gotta pay to play, and if you don't pay...you go on here and tell everyone you are a rat and cannot get financed on a new car...LMAO

BTW I am a business manager at a dealership and what you are saying makes no sense. You WILL have a credit score and OPEN trade line if YOU OWE money. Plain and simple. Now if there is nothing positive and you have collections, etc you will have no score either. IE:very bad credit. I get people bought every day with zero score because there last installment is over 6 years old and they have no debt with no money down. They had to have positive installment sales credit in the past and nothing derog and with no score they get financing. You either have derog and no score, or are telliing half the story. With a 620 FICO i just got someone bought with previous derog(credit cards) and good car credit, with $7500 down on a $35000 car and got her 5.9% for 72 months. So if you had good car credit in the past and good job time, and good mortgage history this should be no issue!

BUT.... I did not take delivery of the ZL1..because of software issues and the car being a new design.. I did have it built though.. VIN #83..... The credit union just last year approved the loan based on MY credit..
so in ONE year.. a simple $600 light bill messed it up to where it is...
I KNOW how to fix it.. and I DO know HOW MUCH time it will take.. its not that hard to fix....

Well if you can't be responsible enough to pay an electric bill...
(how could it be $600 anyway unless it was late a few months? I have what most would say is a nice house mid 6 figures and my electric bill in the summer is around $250)

WHY in the world would some financial institution lend you $40k +++ with NO investment in the form of a large downpayment???

Send me a PM and I can send you my email so you can do a secire online credit app and I will explain in private why you are having trouble. No cost and just willing to help. Not only that I could broker and get the financing for you and ship the car. I do this for a living.

because i can get the car with 700 to 800 credit OR a co signer with 700 to 800 credit with 0 down..... you should know that with good credit you dont even need a down payment. But since I DONT have good credit ATM, i am going to do the smart and logical thing first and WAIT & fix my credit..... THEN buy the car. I appreciate the offer to run a secure app. Wont do much good as my credit is below 500 and my girlfriend is below 500, and we dont have need or want a co signer atm. I can have my credit fixed in less than a few months anyway and then it will not be that big of an issue. To all the haters out there...to each theyre own. I am a grown man @ 49 and have bought PLENTY of cars over the years...33 in fact.... and several NEW cars... So I know plenty well HOW to purchase a car.....
Why am I disclosing my financial info? What is there to hide? want my social security number? Gee whiz folks.... Its just a freakin toy for crying out loud, and ... I will have one... it WILL happen... I simply asked for logical advice..
To the ones that have made positive and respectful replies... I applaud you.

Hang in there Teddy.
I learned a while back that this site has a few rocket builders and polishers. Keep your personal life PERSONAL and youll do well.
And when that day comes...Please post your Boss 302 picture.

If you worked for "Midas" this would be a cool play on words...Otherwise I "might as" continue enjoying the thread if not for anything other than entertainment!

+1 This from an ex-2012 Boss owner! I'm so much happier with my new GT Premium automatic! The Boss just wasn't any fun to drive when the clutch wouldn't disengage when the pedal would hang up near the floor during high RPM shifts, and no TSB in sight. Save yourself the headache.

Easy fix, just remove the assist spring.
