Brian, can you tell if the stripe delete codes for the Boss also delete the roof paint?

 

That's a darn good question that I can't answer.

 

Awesome, cool to see that the Lava Red interior is avail with ither white/black/or the lava red paint.

Now I just need to see a Lava 5.0 w/Brembos and Lava interior.

 

The Stone interior with just the seats and door inserts and black interior is a smart move as well.

Second- anyone know if any of the LS red can be deleted?? I've never really got my panties wadded that much over paint choices when it came to performance but the pimped out, ghetto, gangsta, way-too-much red on the LS is enough for me NOT to order my dream car- which the LS pretty much is (Actually make me a 302R and I'll be happy!).

The order guide seems to indicate that CO and Race Red can be ordered with white or black stripes. Is that correct?

I was set on YB until I saw CO with white. Not only is it retro but it's also $495 cheaper and I'm already over budget. The price difference would pay for the Boss accessory package, too.

 

Tony, looks like you were very close to the msrp using the gt base price of 33k and adding 7k to that price...good call. I am glad my dealer was over by 6k.

 

With White on RED or CO, the Black wheels will clash, with the BLUE w White the wheels look OK because of the dark color of the paint.

I'm glad & mad at the same time, over Ford waiting till order day, to let us know about stripe option's, would of been time for someone to produce a PS of CO & WHT and RED & WHT, now, I gotta go through this thought process in a hurry, because my dealer told me the second he could order, he would call me, so we could get the deal done,,maybe today!

I feel your pain - my dealer can't place the order yet. I don't know specifics.

 

My understanding is that Red Keys will be available after-the-fact and that pricing hasn't not been announced yet. At least several hundred dollars, IMO, though (likely priced similar to an aftermarket tuner or custom dyno tuning).

So I clearly missed it - what is the tape stripe delete code? If they still paint the roof white with the stripe delete, I guess I'll be repainting the roof of my new Kona Blue Boss. Or I order Performance White...uggh!

 

My dealer is saying the same **** thing, but their GM is on vacation for another week, and they are trying to tell me they are going to charge over MSRP after we all agreed price was going to be MSRP. I can't believe a dealer I've bought several cars from in the past and gave a deposit the day after they Boss was announced with out even knowing they were going to get one would pull crap like this. I understand its just business but come on show some loyalty to people that show loyalty to you.

 

I can understand it. That deposit without an allocation was probably a confirmation of 'hey, hot car here'. It is unfortunate that you were put into that situation. Hope it works out to your favor. Good luck!
