Whomever you were on the QEW enjoy your Boss . People who put their stangs away for the winter are useless ,or they have more money than brains. I have had several mustangs since my first in 1965 . They have all been daily drivers and have enjoyed every one of them in winter.Cars are made to be driven regardless of the season. With the proper winter tires stangs are great in the snow. If your hoping your car will be a classic, perhaps it will, many years in the future.Cars cost a lot, enjoy them while you have them and don't worry about saving them for an investment. By the time you sell your car it will only bring a certain amount of $ between the high and low value set by the market.

The person who made the original quote about the guy on the QEW should be painted with your comment, I was only defending our right to drive our cars at anytime and season.

But you were the one that said people are useless for not driving their cars all the time.

I simply don't care. Winter is what it is. Car is disposable anyway.

Perhaps a poor choice of words .But don't we buy them to drive rather than having them gather dust in the garage ?

Hey - its my money. I paid for it. I want to keep it as mint as possible for as long as possible. Winter means getting the front end and windshield pelted with cinders used for traction (they don't do salt here). I store it in the garage under cover Nov - Apr and take the insurance off, and I bought another car just for winter driving that mostly sits in the summer. What concern is that to anyone else?

I hope you at least keep comprehensive coverage even when it is in storage. It protects it from all of the other things that could happen to it besides a wreck.

Everyone has their own reasons for ownership.

gaining value is the worst reason to buy a track car.. infact it may be a sin! You dont buy a power saw and use a old hand saw for part of the year because you are saving it for later..
