No pics of the charcoal/plum seats yet. Might have to wait until Ford prints '12 brochures and/or cars start showing up next spring.
So far, the order banks show the charcoal/plum interior as only being available with the Lava Red exterior.

I'm not sure I am feeling the Lava Red on a Mustang. It's a nice colour, but to me its red wine look would suit a luxury car/truck more than a sports car. Maybe it will look better for real than it does in my head????
It's too bad the Bullitt made it impossible to offer a dark green like Highland. I am not a fan of green generally but a nice deep green is classic and sexy.

I like the original Sonic Blue that was on the first S197s. Which was replaced by Vista Blue. Then Kona Blue. I do like that Aurora Blue on the Mazda too.

"We are happy to hear about your interest in the 2012 Boss 302 Mustang. Currently the order guide for the vehicle is not expected to be released until the date that the Mustang is available for order, on November 8th. We have seen order guides become available a week before the ordering timeline begins, so it is definitely worth staying in contact with your dealer in case this happens for the Boss 302."
So apparently the original release date of early October has slid a bit. Good news is that we are only a couple of weeks out....
