OK its early October
The 9/2 memo to Ford Dealers indicated that Dealers would be given their full year production guide numbers (quarters when their unit(s) would be scheduled) for the 2012 Boss 302 Mustang in "early October". Based on this the Dealers should hear something this coming week.
My car has just 10 more hp than the upcoming Boss 302 and rips 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds (on drag radials). Keep in mind that Boss 302's were never about drag racing - they were road racers - so I wouldn't get too caught up in 0-60 mph times. Lap times are what the Boss 302 is all about.
Brian,
I know the Boss is not drag car, but it should be 4.0 in 0-60...at least I hope it would be. It needs enough off the line to battle it out with everyone who's going to want to go it at a stoplight.

I spend waaaayyyy too much time checking this site for any new tidbit of info. Other than more complete specs and the 'Leno key', all I need to know is if my dealer is getting a Laguna Seca and whether or not my wife is going to divorce me when I order one.
The car will be capable of 4.0 0-60 mph sprints. The question is whether the tire compound will be up to the task.
