I have been charged about $100 for each oil change. I went over to Palm Springs and got charged $75. I asked if they used the correct oil and the right amount...like 8 quarts, and they said yes. I checked the oil when I got home and it looked right....good deal or should I be worried if they used the right oil and right amount?

Does the bill say 5W50 and 8.5 qts.? Motorcraft.
If yes, should be good.

 

They may have used Mobile One 5W50 which you can get one sale for about $54 for 9 quarts. Throw in the filter and $75 is a darn good deal. I get the Motorcraft 9 qt kit with filter from K-Manspart for $76 plus shipping and do the work myself, so providing they gave you the right juice you got a killer deal. That makes me worry. I wouldn't dare think of anyone changing the life blood of my Boss, but me!

 

Use Amsoil 5w50, K&N filter & do it myself.
Cost a bit more , but, nothing is too good for my baby.
