Oh Nooooo! A Laguna Seca R!!!
Crap, just when I am awaiting delivery of my LS, and now there's a 302 R!! I guess I'll just pass on the LS and pick this up. I'm sure it is EVERTHING the LS is, right? (NOT!)

This is getting stupid, now someone has a car they ordered on eBay that is not built yet. You can buy from him his slot or something like that, I just don't get it.

I wonder where autonation got the parts so soon to build a replica Boss LS. Very interesting to take a GT and build a replica Boss LS. I suppose you would have the look, but not the performance.

i suppose this couldnt be any worse than the stock GT a local dealership had that was dressed up as knight rider..... and that sat on that dealership lot for 2 or more years... right? also, does it ever make you think like what does Ford Corprate (sp?) think of things like this?
Maybe a Boss LS replica is not such a bad idea afterall. Could drive the replica untill the real Boss LS is built. Could also drive the replica during the winter when the snow arrives in Minnesota.

I seriously doubt someone is dumb enough to dump $40K on a poorly conceived wannabe replica but then again, perhaps there is.
It would make sense for the dealer to reach such decision if the car was damaged and had to spend the money for its repairs otherwise lots of luck to the dealer and its bright idea.

What, you don't believe that there are people out there right now figuring out how to make their mustangs GT's and 6's into BOSS "tributes?" People have been making BOSS tributes for years, why would they stop just because there is an actual BOSS out on the streets again?

I fail to see the logic in creating a "tribute" only to ignore and exclude the performance upgrades of the original. In this case as in most a replica, tribute or not, has a high price tag just to get attention while the original can be had for a few extra $Ks.
I think I vomited in my mouth just now. I've been to this dealership. They tried to sell me on one of their tarted up 2010 models. Even though I was there with interest to buy a 2011. I said I'd never go back and have no idea how the hell they even sell cars.
