not scary, curious really. with the cars unveil i am sure they have pics somewhere of the normal boss. i really wanted to see the differences between the two versions. i am wondering if you will only be able to tell a LS from a street boss if you can see the back seat this year.

LS wheels / silver stripes and black as an exclusive color will still make it different enough on the outside.

I can't wait to see pics of the black one.

Wondering if the reflective stripes will be unique to the LS or if they will be available across the BOSS lineup. Overall, I'm impressed by the upgrades, and I like how they've made each year of the BOSS unique! I can't say one negative thing about the 2013, but I still love my '12 just as much as I always have! Great work, Ford!

Are the pictures on the internet the LS and not the regular Boss?

I agree. It would be pretty expensive to put forged internals in a Coyote engine.

Yes but you'll need to change the rear bumper as well.

They did listen, it would seem, to the forums:

lightweight 19-inch black alloy racing wheels
SYNC
reflective stripes
unique functional design feature in the grille
Boss-specific high-performance pad compound
Unlike the previous model, the roof will not feature colored accents

------------------------
Taillights not sure on the front, not hating it but not loving it

Now if only they made it a G code
I bet your reevaluating :-P

notice the directional pad where the cruise control buttons were previously... obviously for the track apps... but will it be cluttered.... launch control(possibly through LCD interface)

also, it appears this LS has the exact same front end as the standard GT minus the splitter... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeK6tZbQ5TI

Who said anything about launch control? My bet is no TracKey no launch control.

Most likely would have to switch the rear bumper cover too because the shape is "straighter". Also, I wonder how the electronic control of those lights will happen.

Hmmmmm. They did say GT500 would have Launch Control but I haven't seen that on the Boss.

It could come standard as it appears they are doing that with the GT500. Maybe Ford learned from the 2012 TracKey broohaha and only retained launch control and made it "menu" item on the computer

After waiting nearly 8 months (4th qtr allocation), I finally got my VIN today! Reading all the hype and possible xtras for the upcoming '13 (possible rear end changes, etc.), I was starting to second guess myself and possibly hold out for a few more months. Then, after seeing pics of the new '13, I am very glad that I am getting a '12. I am not sold on the new front end and the fact that it looks so similar to the GT500.

That being said, I finally got my VIN, printed my window sticker, and getting ready for an early Christmas present!
