Awesome vids. When I was watching the on-track vid, I thought, "Whoa, he's way too hot going into that corner," when I saw the 173MPH top speed, and yep you had a little run onto the pavement and missed the corner. I'm totally not criticizing the driving as I would have probably been in the wall or way, way slower. Awesome driving and awesome video!

Sweet, too bad the tach wasn't working. I think we would have seen 8,000 rpm.

I hope TracKey has the same tune (except the emissions parameters). I hate to think I'll have to buy an SCT or Diablo and pay another $600 just for a tuner to shut off the speed limiter.

The engine sounded phenomenal. I noticed how much more aggressively he could exit corners than I can with that dam### supercharged GT500. I can't wait!

Just got done watching the REAL race action from last week (Continental Tire Race aired on SPEED this afternoon), Joe and Scott didn't have any issues like the one in the video above. Ran a strong race and finished second! Probably could have gotten the win except for a caution that slowed down Scott's momentum right at the last couple laps. Looked like the car was really on a tear in the second half of the race.

Rehagen's car got rearended early in the race, didn't look like they were able to recover well from that

Jack Roush Jr. went head-on into the tire wall at Turn 1 (same where Foster went wide in the video). Hopefully he's OK...the 302R looked like it was done.

It's my favorite race series to watch because of that level of competition. Been a dedicated follower since '08.

My favorite series is ALMS, then F1. Conti. series could sneak up the list now that I've ordered a Boss.

ALMS is really good too. F1 is good too but sometimes the races are practically parades. Very excited now that race season in general is cranking back up!

Next year the F1 series has major changes. Engines will be turbocharged and very small displacement, regulations will change to cleanup dirty air so drafting can return ala NASCAR, allowing much more passing.

That was great! It's amazing to think they're going through the bus stop at 70 mph.

The FR500C won in its very first race (at Daytona) and went on to win the championship that year. I've been hooked on Grand Am ever since. This to me is the closest we've come to what the old Trans Am series really was back in the day.

And I'm glad to finally see a full season of TV coverage! (even if it IS tape delayed). On that note, could we please be reminded to not post results in any thread titles? That way I can just stay out of the particular threads until the race has aired and not have the anticipation "spoiled" We made it through the first race without any spoilers and that was great!
