New interview
What I am curious to see if what happens if/when Ford tries to deny warranty repairs on these cars claiming they've been taken to the track. If they do I think a class action suit for false advertising will be viable.
Can't wait to see how this will play out.

We always said we were going to do this thing right or we weren’t going to do it at all. The senior leadership team challenged us to make sure that this car was going to be worthy of wearing the BOSS name. To get this program approved, we had to agree to beat a BMW M3 on the track at Laguna Seca Raceway. Nobody on the team was going to let this thing become anything less than the original. All of us were extremely committed; some guys were working on stuff in their garages on the weekend and bringing it in on Monday and asking what do you think about this? We’ve had people that have been working around the clock seven days a week nearly 24 hours a day just to make sure that this car is going to be nothing short of excellent. It’s above and beyond the normal scope of work, but everybody enjoyed doing it. I think it’s important for people to understand the amount of engineering that went into this car. There is not a system that we didn’t address or modify: aerodynamics, NVH, steering and handling, powertrain, chassis, etc. Every system has been revamped to be worthy of carrying the BOSS name.

The standard BOSS 302 is both a track ready vehicle and one that can be driven on the street. The Laguna Seca package is as close as you’re going to get to a race car with a license plate. We pushed every boundary that we could push. It’s still street legal but definitely made to race. It really gives the avid racer, the one who wants to take this thing to the track on the weekend have some fun, the ability to do that without modification.
