My new Forgeline wheels

So I just purchased a set of these wheels in 19 x 9's and 19x 10's for my new Boss. They are also the correct off sets 42 and 45.I am familiar with Forgeline thru my Porsche racing days..They are currently running wheels in Grand Am.The wheels are 18 and 19lbs each! An excellent wheel! I am very excited that they are making them for the Boss!See ya unsprung weight!

They look great Ron. And the weight savings is amazing! What color do you plan on going with? I think with your SBY the matte black wheels would look outstanding...

I have been looking for a lightweight 19in rim but everything I have seen have been out of my budget. I need to work harder...

Did you consider Forgestars? Not as light as the Forgeline but not bad especially compared to the OEM weights and a set will only set you back around $1500.

Excellent choice. When you buy a set of those you are serious. I prefer them to HRE.

Nice looking, well-built wheel. I can't wait to see how they look when mounted.

Limited styles and not something I'd trust on the track.

curious about why you went with 19's vs 18's? seems that most folks are trending toward 18's for track use - particularly given tire selection...

Forgestars have been used a lot on the track. That being said, they have never done anything for me.

I've seen a multitude of 997s on the track with Forgestars and a bunch of M3s. I've never seen an issue with Forgestars. To each his own..

Here is a GMG prepped track car that is running F14s in 18" diamater.

You are correct. Most people go with an 18 square set up.You can rotate a 4 tires and save some cash. Then they need to change the rear sway to get the handling correct.Thats ok.The Ford Development team really got this car right. The staggered set up is great, and the tire sizing is spot on.I am not going to mess with a great set up.All I know is I can get Hoosiers in the stock staggered sizes. That makes me very happy! On my 2012 Boss I ran Hoosiers on the stock rims and they were absolutly brillant!
I stick by what the factory guys do .They have countless hours of testing on the Boss.just my02
Best regards,Ron

Exactly my thinking and I'm thinking I may go with your choice as well.

Agreed. Well, almost. Rims are a bit pricey for me this year. Looking at O.Z. Instead.
