How long after the dealer recieves my car should I expect to get my LS specific equipment?

 

iirc mine was about 3 weeks.

 

My parts showed up about 2 weeks before the car did.

 

Don't know the shipping dealer was on par for Wisconsin dealers

 

Can anybody provide me with the part number/ nomenclature description on the box and a size weight? My dealer seems CLUELESS!

The box is large! It is about the size of a small refrigerator. All of the smaller boxes will be in this larger box. My experience with the delays in shipping the LS's out, the box will typically beat the car to the dealership. We are 3 for 3 in SoCal for the dealer having the box 3-4 weeks BEFORE the car arrives. (I'm in Paris on business at the moment otherwise I'd be happy to break down the contents and part numbers for you. Worst case is that I can do this Friday when I am back in the US.)

 

I just received mine on friday. The box is 19x29 and almost 6 foot long. Doesn't weigh much but its hard to miss. This is the label on it.

I am actually looking for a set of the bumper inserts for my brake duct kit. Have you compared the ones that came with the car with the kit version? Is the mod a simple cutting out of the block-off section of the plastic?

Ford has priced the cutout versions into the stratosphere. Would you be willing to part with the closed ones that came with your car?

 

I plan on working on it tonight so I'll see if there is any difference. I'll let you know.

As far as selling them, let me think about it. In reality, I'll never use them again so I have no use for them.
