Question looking for tuner in Dallas Tx to do S/C

Hey guys, doing my research and planning here.
I am wanting to add a KB 2.8 S/C to my 12 or 13 YM boss when I get it.
A S/C, tune, and headers, CAI.
Nothing more, probably nothing less. I know Dallas Mustang does some work, would they be the ones to look up? I checked out LG motorsports but I don't think they work on stangs anymore, just vettes and maros'.
I would preferably like to have the tuner purchase the parts for me so I can get it done in one lick.

Any information to help my research would be much appreciated.

HPP racing shows how they did this on a coyote and got 990 HP from it...
Bigger S/C...
Comes with:
  • Kenne Bell 3.6L Mammoth
  • Steeda Lower and Upper Control Arms
  • HPP Custom Fuel System
  • American Racing Headers, Mid Pipe
  • Magnaflow Cat-Back
  • Single Piece Driveshaft
Call for price...
Maybe they can do the same thing with the Road Runner as that is really what I am holding out for...
Thanks bro!

I think they do. I have not been there in a couple of years...mainly looked around at parts when I was there and did not get into the technical end of things.. Maybe someone that has done this will chime in.
I guess a phone call would work.

Stay away from HPP unless you have boat loads of money to blow through. If that's the case, hey buddy how ya doing?

Highly recommend Travis at Gearheads.

Manny at HPP did my the tune on my Bullitt (traded for the boss) it was supercharged, LT's, off road, etc. They did a great job with it. If I recall it was 400 for the tune, which is lifetime, you only pay for dyno time after that. You will also need to provide you own SCT tuner, another expense. Plus plan on leaving the car for at least a day. You may schedule time with them, but its doubtful they will actually start on it anywhere near the time they say. I have heard really bad stories about HPP and good ones, but I think that can be said of any shop really. I had Gearheads put my 4.30's in the bullitt and after that experience I wouldn't go back.

just my thoughts

Red face

I just called HPP Racing...
They quoted me 1500 benjamin's for the package...
same thing for the 13 boss....
I have no experience with any Blower installs, but for that kind of money I can learn real quick on how to install it myself.....OR im sure there is someone local who can install the kb for lot less.... I dont need the steeda a- arms, or the drive shaft....
I would think I can get a nice kb S/C for around $6k...surely I can find someone to install it or install it myself for less than $9,000?????
