Looking for a Q2 build at MSRP.

Some of you have probably ready my old post were I got screwed out of my order 3 weeks after I placed it. Well, I'm ready to start looking for a new BOSS again. Hopefully I'm not to late. This forum has some of the best info and helpful people I've seen in a long time so I thought I would start here.
I'm hoping to find a Q2 or a Q3 allocation or even dealer stock if they are willing to sell at MSRP. I'm in the south SF bay area but would consider something from anywhere if need be.
TIA.

The Ford dealer in Morgan Hill had a fourth quarter car a month ago. Send me a PM and I'll give you the contacts email and phone. Leave me your email address.

Read my sig below.

Also you can check eBay, go to the completed listings after a 2012 Boss 302 search. You can find some that were listed at MSRP, I think a dealer in GA listed one at MSRP>

Also happen to run across this third qtr.

Call Chris at Victor Motorsports. I believe they are selling their 2nd quarter allocation at MSRP.

One of our other stores may be getting one. I'm in OK. PM me if you don't find anything closer.

When does Q2 start? I tried searching on the forum but I guess I wasn't using the proper keywords.

I don't think anyone outside of Ford knows definitively. Production was supposed to begin 1/17 but was pushed back to 2/14 due to parts shortages. It's not clear what the Model Year will actually consist of either. So did the 2nd quarter get pushed back due to the 4 week delay in starting production, or is it a calendar quarter?

My bet is calendar year. I hope Ford gets caught up soon so I can get my car during Q2.

Well the guy at the dealer told me an April build for a Q2 car. I'm still trying to swallow the additional cost of having the roof painted and stripes swapped. Starting to feel like I should just keep my SHO for another year and see what the 2013 brings in terms of color schemes.

How does he know it's April and not May or June?

I really didn't get into detail over the phone. Just asked what kind of time frame we were talking about.

If you don't want to do all that work because of the color schemes, then I would definitely wait until 2013MY. Worst case scenario is you have to do the same thing you're thinking about doing right now anyways..

As far as colors they were shown in the Speed Channel special. Here's a screen shot.

Wow, I prefer that stripe scheme anyways. Looks like it may be wise to hold off. I guess I don't have to be the kid on the block with the fancy new toy this year.

Don't feel bad, you can sit in the waiting room with me. I too am holding for different color/stripe options.

I'm also hoping they offer different wheels next year, but I'm guessing that is unlikely.
