I mentioned last night i had a new tune for my boss. Johnny sent me a revised tune last night to try out and i put it on the car this morning and shot a short vid, it would have been longer but a douche up the street came to complain about the noise lol



i forgot to add that the car has long tube headers, catted X and flowmaster hushpower mufflers

Sounds good but I suspect your modified exhaust is part of it. Buy your neighbor some ear plugs.

 

I was surprisingly nice to him, i was thinking inside Eff You, but I explained to him that it was a work thing and that i would be driving off soon. Had i known what a ***** he had been to my wife, apparently he was at my door while i was shooting that, i wouldn't have been nice at all. funny thing is this same douche has a truck with a flat bed and a massive welding rig that is a diesel. He leaves that clatter thing running outside in the winter for 30 minutes before he leaves.

 

That sounds awesome ... tell that douchebag to go F himself, and during the winter, I'd definitely give him some s h it over his diesel ...

You should get a decibel reading on that rattle trap oil burner compared to your 302 and tell him to put a cork in it. Your Boss idling is pretty quiet.

 

Shane, that is sick. I want my effing trackey! Those diesels are very annoying at idle. I am sure he will come to reasoning after playing that tune a few times.

Sounds like the idle sped up at the end of the Video. Was there someone in the car or does the idle hunt a little?

 

that was about 10am here in Texas and it was already 95 degrees, the AC was on and it idled up when the compressor kicked in.

 

What brand tuner does he use?

I just called, they want 125 for a mail order tune and an additional 75 to add the cammed feature.

Lethal is still selling lunds cammed tune for 200, so I don't see why people would choose this over a name like Lund's (unless you had a reason to hate lund, I've only heard good things) if its the same price.

Guess I'll just keep praying that when the track key drops bama can figure this out/be allowed to sell it.

Lund is still selling the cammed tune. I've been sitting a bit to see if anything is gleamed from the upcoming trackkey calibrations that might carry over to tuners working on GT's, boss's, etc.
