**** i wanted to run that PBOC event, but running high banks in my Miata is just a waste of gas and track space, lol.

What kind of speeds did you see on the back straight before the bus stop and before the infield turn-in?

About 145ish prior to the bus stop and as fast as the car would go through NASCAR turn 4 and down into the infield, 155ish.

Awesome.

You get extra points for cinematography with the shots of the setting Florida sun.

I plan on hitting Daytona some time in the near future. What are the prices and terms like?

I went to their website awhile back and couldn't find any info on day track stuff, only the Richard Petty experience - which I'm thinking about trying as well.

DIS doesn't organize the event itself, they rent it out to track day clubs/racing organizations.

Not many clubs run Daytona due to the huge rental cost. Most clubs charge high $300's to low $400's for a single day event.

I believe TrackDaze and HookedOnDriving are running Daytona in December.

If you live in Florida and track your car you NEED to look here/Join Track Weekend, if you wish you lived in Florida and want to come down for an event it's listed on the site!

PBOC Florida put on the event; $600.00 for two days + $25 for a garage spot. In between sessions the Viper Racing League was there and PBOC was racing so very cool!

Expensive yes, but D@MN it's Daytona!

Does that include swapping brakes and tires at the track in August, I think is cooler

Anyway I am glad to see the report from you guys first, now I know not to freak when the "service advancetrack" comes on. Maybe I will have Trackey by then (don't laugh, it could happen).

Well I will concede that it's hot down here, but it's really just as hot in most the US, it's just that we get the winter track season........

Just put a deposit on a BOSS - that site is exactly what I needed. Being a n00b, I was trying to sort through all of the individual track sites.

Most excellent man... thanks!

Finally got to watch this! *jealous*!!!

I also have a Miata for a track-rat, and I've run my GT at Mid-Ohio once already just for "fun". Didn't want to push it too hard, but I LIKE it already!
