I just hit 30k miles, and my Boss still runs like it was brand new. I still hate the transmission, and will probably never buy another Ford because of it, but I like plenty of other things about the Boss. I do like the Recaros, the wide tires in the back, and the sound of the engine. I got some Michelins for the front, will be buying back tires soon. Still love the color....
This is great news, guys!
how do the Recaro seats hold up to wear? Any worries about the Torsen's longevity?
So far so good, there is a bit of fade on the leading edge of the drivers seat bolster but not bad at all considering I daily it and the rear has been no problem at all
Getting close to 5-1/2 years in June. 8200 miles and summer driven only. Tracked and have a few scratches, one tiny ding on the passenger side wheel well. Could use a good detail but I do track the car too and she's going to get some chips but overall the 2012 looks great and still shows well. Interior is immaculate and she runs great.

That's what made me go Yellow Blaze.
I will say you are one of the first that replaced the front tires before the rears with all that power .

Ya, about that. From what I have heard, the Boss has an aggressive alignment, that causes some crazy wear to the inner third of the front tires. I had no idea until I took it in for an oil change, and the tech called me over while the Boss was in the air.....crazy and thread bare....
