I just got back from picking up my YB Boss! I have been lurking here for quite a while, and have had the same lack of info, and slooooowwwww delivery problems as most everyone else. I ordered on Jan 31, was told it was a second quarter build. Window sticker appeared on May 30th, and it was built June 6th. First E.T.A. was the 10th, then the 16th, then the 19th, then nothing but "it should be loaded Friday the 24th." I requested no PDI clean-up, and the dealer followed through. I got the call from him at 2:50 pm, and was at his door by 6:00 pm. After 2 1/2 hours of "dealer stuff" I was on my way home with my car in the trailer. 9 miles on the speedo, and now tucked into the garage. Sleep some, then YEEEEEHAAAWWWWW!!!! The car number slips my mind, but I think it is 1007, or 1009. More as the story develops.

It's fully loaded! Congratulations, man. Give us some first impressions after you drive it around tomorrow.

Congratulations you lucky dog. Mine was built on 6/8 and hasn't shipped yet. We really want to know what number it is.

 

If you request no dealer clean up, what happens? it is simply a matter of taking off the seat covers and pulling the window stickers?

Sorry Jimmy, no Recaros or torsion axle. Thanks for the kind words, I have yet to have time to get it out. I did verify it is number 1009. Yes I did own a beautiful SSP Mustang. I sold it earlier this spring to help finance this car. Hoping to get some seat time over the Holiday weekend.

 

I asked for that, as I wanted to be the first to clean my car. I also wanted to get pictures of all the markings, stickers and such. I also don't care for someone else using stuff to clean a car with that I have not or would not use. Ever been pumping gas when some yoyo uses the windshield brush to clean the front bumper or the dripped gas off of his car? I am VERY particular about my car care, and can usually do a better job than the "shop dude". Plus it is not likely that I will ever have another new car ordered, so it is my way of "introducing" myself to the new vehicle.

The YB was the first Boss 302 I saw up close. Same reaction to your picture - holy **** that looks good.

 

Well Saturday proved to be a busy day with 1009. I installed the 3/4 disks, thanks to Scott! Added a matching dead pedal, and got the interior all cleaned up. I am also thinking it won't be long before I have to start hiding the keys........
