Even if it could, I don't see the point.

TracKey is completely legal on the street. They in no way could insinuate that you were 'racing' just because one key (or one tune) was in use at any given time.

I was looking online to get some quick quotes, most places don't list 2012 model years and the rest don't acknowledge the VIN, I did stumble across car fax though, it knows the VIN

Did you try Ford insurance (post one)? They recognize the VIN and so far best quote I have received.

they were the cheapest by about 30-40 dollars. They didn't have the Boss listed though.

Did you give them the VIN?

30-40 Dollars will buy enough gas for an extra 18.2 miles of fun Boss drivin

Disclaimer: above figure based on future gas prices at the time of delivery after the dictator of a backwards s#*%hole oil producing country sneezes and Wall Street hears about it.

I did a quote for a gentleman in Michigan the other day and it was very reasonable. You guys, its not just about the car - its more about the driver. As a matter of fact the Corvette is one of the least expensive cars to insure.

Signed with Grundy 609 for the year, no real miles limit but they said it can not be used as a DD. The 70 was $227 year. It was about 33% less then Hagerty.

Not too bad at a little over $600. I got the insurance card yesterday but no glove box to put it in. I'm insuring a car that is still in Flat Rock and no sign of when it will leave.

Y would you do that? Usually your not supposed to start insurance until the day you take it off the dealers lot.

It shouldn't be much more or anymore than a GT. On a side note all this talk about storing it for the winter is making me ill. You guys are living in the wrong place, I cant even imagine storing my vehicle for a day, let alone a season.

If you REALLY did this, WTF are you thinking. You're insuring a vehicle you do not own yet. I repeat, WTF are you doing.

I still do not have the car, maybe this week.

On the insurance here are the questions/requirements for Grundy

1. Preferred effective date of coverage?

2. Previous loses or violations (last 3 years)?

3. Any operators under 25 years of age? Yes No NAME DATE OF BIRTH LICENSE NO.

I do not know if this will effect getting the insurance since there is no drivers here under 25

4. Any collector vehicle used for racing or rallying?

Asked about this, they will not cancel the policy if raced but it is not covered on the track.

5. Any collector vehicle used for driving to and from work or school?

If yes, no policy

6. Any collector vehicle used for errands, back-up, primary or secondary transportation?

I asked about this and was told if the F150 was ion the shop for a couple of days they understand you may drive it. I also said I may drive it to the store on occasion to warm it up and that is OK.

7. Does engine, body or drivetrain differ from car maker’s original?

They know about Trackey.

8. Will engine, body or drivetrain be changed?

9. Will horsepower or body be changed?

Little things like spoilers and paint do not matter.

10 How many licensed operators in household?

11. Garage construction (describe walls & roof).

Did not make a difference

12. Any security systems (fire or burglary)?

Did not make a difference

13. Total number of collector vehicles owned.

14. Operator information (all household operators).

15. List regular transportation vehicles for each driver.

You must have one

16. To what automobile clubs do you belong?

Did not make a difference.

They are helpful, the girl on the phone knew all about the car, asking me first if I got a LS and will I get the red key. Any way the basic thing is the car is not used for an everyday car. Not for work, picking kids up at school etc. Works fine for me as I will not use the car to go to the supermarket anyway and saved quite a bit. Value is stated since it is limited production.

Hope that helps

Yes thank you. Grundy is a specific company or do most companies offer it?

I haven't checked on insurance yet. Being 27 in itself will make it not fun. I just have to make sure my wife isn't on the insurance for it and it will help some. She's a horrible driver lol
