What is the reason for leaving the plastic on the car, instead of the dealer detailing it?

Which papers or plastic did you document, should it be retained with the car for future owners?

Bottom line, what should I, or anyone, tell the Dealer what should or should not be done, once the car lands on the dealer lot?

I plan on visiting my dealer this week to make sure we are on the same page and would like to be armed with some important instructions for them.

The answer to all this is completely up to you. I wanted to save everything that came with the car, just because I am an old time Boss lover. Will it make a big difference, most likely no on somethings like seat plastic but the red key card on the key ring - yes save that.

I just wanted to see the car as it came from the factory, that is why I asked it not be touched. I had trust in my dealer the car would not be driven, if there is any question with that telling them you want to see it off the truck will help out.

My last reason was - if you want a job done right, do it yourself - I just wanted to clean up and detail the inside myself. This way no overspray on the inside widows etc. It is not that big of a deal, but it leaves no room for error.
