The word must be out already. I was cruising home on the interstate Sunday after banging around on some back highways breaking her in when lo' and behold what do I see bearing down in my rear view mirror? Here comes an orange Camaro with white stripes in the fast lane a few hundred yards back. He must have picked me up about a hundred yards out because all of a sudden......he's not closing anymore 
I even rolled by my exit just to see what he'd do. I ended up taking the next alternate exit to my house and he just hung back there the whole way.

That is good to see! I was thinking that I could do the 11s with DRs.
My 2001 Cammer 5.0 is 12.2@113 with the IRS while I baby'd it out
of the hole with 1.9 60' This will be a fun summer. I also, would like to
hear more about details on the 1/4 mile runs!

yes, it is the FR500B crate engine. I have heard that it is a little stronger in the mid range but the new one is stronger on the top end! I am looking forward to feeling that part of it! And a Solid Axle!

What's really funny about the 12.36 @ 116.4 on the stock tires is all of the Chevys guys were commenting that Motor Trend was full of $hit about the 12.8 @ 113 they ran......................
Whats really going to make them cry is the 11.72 @ 117 drag radials or not!
Back in the late 80's when I had my GN a 12.6 @ 109 was real fast this is really wild!

The car is bone stock besides the slicks, and yes a gt500 with slicks can do better.
